2020 - ROEBUCK RIDERS

Early on a Friday or Sunday morning, you will see a group of motorbike riders heading out on the highway to the Roebuck Plains Roadhouse to meet for breakfast. They are not bikies as they do not wear a Patch, just a group of bikers who love the freedom of motorbikes and call themselves the Roebuck Riders.

Andy Bubb is their official / unofficial manager, as they did not want to make it too structured and have a committee. They range in age from 20 – 74 and they have around 25 club members, mostly men and a few women riders. During the year they will ride out to Fitzroy Crossing, Willare Roadhouse and Nilibubbica rest area to either spend the night or just have breakfast.

In August each year, they organise the Christmas Toy Run, starting at the Cable Beach Car Park and finishing at the Drop in Centre, all toys are then distributed at Christmas. The club members own a range of bikes from 3-wheel Spiders, Harleys, Ducatti, Triumphs, Indians and a Russian Ural with sidecar.
